Texas X’s Name Jeff Raymer General Manager
Conroe, TX — The Texas X’s are proud to announce Jeff Raymer as the organization’s General Manager, bringing a wealth of experience in baseball, coaching, and community leadership to the franchise as it prepares for an exciting future in Conroe.
Raymer steps into the role with a clear vision centered on showcasing local talent and strengthening the connection between the team and the community.
“The exciting thing about leading the Texas X’s organization is allowing Conroe and the surrounding areas to watch some of our local players play some high-level baseball throughout the summer,” said Raymer. “We live in a hotbed of collegiate baseball talent, and it will be great for those guys to be able to play in front of their family and friends.”
Fans can expect an energetic and entertaining style of play from the Texas X’s. “We plan to play fast and aggressive,” Raymer said. “There should never be a dull moment.”
Raymer was drawn to the opportunity by the chance to keep local talent close to home while continuing their development. “The chance to let some of our area guys stay home and still play high-level baseball is the biggest reason I wanted to take this on and help get it going,” he said.
A Texas native, Raymer grew up in Orange, Texas, and attended West Orange-Stark High School, where he met his wife of 23 years, Hayley. He continued his baseball career at Paris Junior College and the University of Louisiana, where he earned his degree in Marketing.
Following his playing days, Raymer gained professional experience working in the marketing department for the Houston Rockets before transitioning into coaching and education. Thirteen years ago, he and his family moved to Conroe when he was named Head Baseball Coach at Conroe High School, further cementing his ties to the local community.
Raymer and his wife Hayley have two children, Owen (18) and Ella (13), and remain deeply rooted in the Conroe area.
With a strong background in player development, leadership, and community engagement, Raymer is well-positioned to guide the Texas X’s as they build a competitive and exciting program.
The Texas X’s look forward to delivering high-level summer baseball while creating a memorable experience for fans throughout Conroe and the surrounding areas.
